Meet Ollie!
Meet Ollie!
Meet Oliver, aka Ollie! Ollie is a 4 year old Labrador mix and is a very sweet boy. Ollie was originally rescued from Alabama. He is neutered, up to date with shots and in good health. Ollie is high energy, he knows basic commands but ideally would continue training with his new owner.
Ollie is reactive towards *some* people. He has made progress with a lot of our volunteers, but he gets fearful/barks when he sees people he finds intimidating. We are unsure of the exact trigger or reason for this. He has no issues with many of our volunteers and many are able to walk him and handle him with no problems. He is great with our young volunteers.
Ollie’s ideal home would be with an active couple/family. He loves to go for walks/runs, and is very playful. Ollie came from a home with children, but older children would be a better fit for him given his size. Someone who works from home or is able to spend a lot of time with him would be ideal, because he really loves being around people. Ollie is playful with other dogs and does not seem to mind cats.
His ideal owner would be very dog savvy, understanding his quirks and giving him the confidence he needs. Professional training can be sponsored for his new owner.
If you think you could give Ollie a loving home, please fill out an adoption application. Call 781-834-6655, ext. 1500 for more information.
