Meet Harmony!

Harmony - Friendly and feisty, approximately 5 year old spayed female tortie. She is up-to-date on vaccines, but has tested positive for FIV. This means she may be more prone to infection and should be an indoor only cat. FIV positive cats can live long, healthy lives and also cohabitate with FIV negative cats without transmitting the infection. Infection can be transmitted through deep bite wounds to other cats, but not to humans or dogs. Virus is not transmittable through common use of food or water bowls or through grooming because the virus quickly dies when outside the host.
