Meet Rory!

Meet Rory! Rory is still seeking a retirement home. He is a 13.5 year old Wirehaired Dachshund who’s owner sadly passed away. Rory is a spunky little guy who deserves a great home. Rory has had bloodwork done which revealed that he has Cushing’s disease. He is not currently on medication for this, on vet’s advice, because he is not exhibiting any symptoms. He also has a few other heath issues, since he is a senior dog, but he still has a lot of life left in him! Rory would do best with a single person or couple to bond with as he was very bonded to his owner. He does not seem to mind other dogs and is socializing with other dogs in his foster home. However, we believe he would be most comfortable being the only pet in the home.
